Children Playing

One important feature of the new developments in Trumpington has been the many new playgrounds. In many cases these were built before the housing around them, so that children from other parts of the village were already playing in them when new families moved in. The panel features the Anstey View LEAP (Local Equipped Area for Play) on Trumpington Meadows.

Trumpington playgrounds are regularly used by teams from the Cambridge City Council ChYPs (Children and Young Peoples Services), particularly during the school holidays.

There are soft play sessions for Under 5’s every Wednesday morning 10.oo-12.00 alternately at the Pavilion and the Clay Farm Centre.

There are many local activities co-ordinated by the Child and Family Centre

which are advertised on Cambridgeshire.Net
