TRUMPINGTON PARISH CHURCH

The Anglican parish church of St Mary & St Michael has played a key part in the spiritual, civic and social life of the village for centuries and its work is growing with the community.

The church publishes a local magazine called the Trumpet which is delivered to every home free of charge, and is available online. There is an updated map of the village in the middle of each edition, which villagers old and new find invaluable. A look through back copies will show how the streets have spread.

There is an account of the history of the church on the local history website.

A group from the church also got together to make a quilt as part of the Stitch in Time project, which is usually on display in the church.
