TRUMPINGTON MEADOWS COUNTRY PARK
by Rebecca G
This panel was made by Becky Green, the Chief Ranger of Trumpington Meadows Country Park.
Featuring badgers, the symbol of the local Wildlife Trust, it was made by painting calico with a dye wash to suggest sunset, onto which a variety of fabrics were attached by the popular ‘stick and sew’ method. This was then finished with embroidery to suggest plants and the flow of the river.
